We Believe that Sharing Our Stories

Will Produce Fruit

Vine & Branches Stories Ministry

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

“My testimony isn’t a big deal.” Well, yes it is!

. . . A testimony is about what God has done, is doing, and will do. Your testimony is about the moment you came to Christ, and the truths in that are so powerful because through His forgiveness you can now live an eternal life with God. But, it is also about the moments of revelation that come after you have become a believer. The times God is working, molding, and moving in a particular season.

Those are ongoing testimonies of God’s continual work in your life, and they need to be shared! The beautiful thing about this, is that no matter how you came to Christ, this is true.

What do Vine Branches have in Common with Mustard Seed Plants?  V&B Stories Introduction

Vine branches are connected, are twisted, are often tightly woven together, and when one looks closely at them, it might even look impossible for them to grow without their choking themselves out. Mustard seeds have a similar interconnectedness, too. They start small, but the tiniest seed can overtake an entire garden.   In  fact, the Bible says in Luke 13:18-19 that they can grow so large that birds can come to nest in their branches. Like vine branches, they, too, grow so closely together and so inner-connectedly that it seems like the entire plant would be choked out by itself.  Yet, both vine branches AND  mustard seed plants flourish in their divine, God-given design. They are meant to be interconnected, to be unified, and to be interdependent much like God's people.

Listen to the very first Vine and Branches Stories Podcast; it explains how God planted this tiny seed which has been blossoming and has been taking root. It shows how God is using this project to help people to have an interconnectedness like the vine branches and mustard seed plants have.
